Welcome to 2018!
Here at That’s My Dog we are excited to dig into a new year. Perhaps because in the Chinese Zodiac, this is the Year of the Dog!
Or perhaps it is because 2018 marks our 20th anniversary! That’s My Dog was launched in May 1998. At that time, it was a solo operation and I trained five to ten dogs per month. Today our staff trains 300 – 400 dogs per year while offering daycare and boarding as well.
The years have brought several transitions and with each one, new growth and a more comprehensive approach to training has emerged. When I transitioned out of the animal health care field into the training arena, the goal was to provide a trusted resource for helping people live a harmonious and mutually beneficial life with a dog.
I am very proud that 20 years later that fundamental mission remains the same. We are here to help develop and support the relationship you have with your dogs.
As the year progresses watch for new workshops to be introduced as well as improvements to our existing classes. There will also be a few small changes. This is the last routine newsletter that will be sent. As we move forward, we’ll send new class announcements, training tips, promotions and other news on a more timely basis while still promising not to overload your inbox.
Cheers to all of you as we turn the page on another calendar year. Give your dogs a good scratch and belly rub from us.
Happy New Year!
