Power Steering Wade Collar

The Power Steering Wade Collar solves the problem of dogs slipping their collars and prevents bolting, lunging or pulling too hard on leash.

Unlike a traditional slip collar, the Wade collar keeps the collar snug behind the ears and under the jaw. If you look carefully you’ll see a little cord lock. Once the collar slips over the dog’s head and is in place (behind the ears and under the jaw) you just slide the cord lock down to keep it gently into place and voila, you’ve installed power steering dog training collar! Dog training experts all agree that a collar placed higher on the neck (just behind the ears and under the jaw) allows the user greater control. This is exactly why all show dogs are on show leads that are high and just behind the ears! However, for the non-professional pet owner, maintaining that placement is a challenge.
