Happy New Year for Dubuque Dogs!

Last night we celebrated the end of another year at That’s My Dog! We had our holiday party at L.May Eatery on Main Street. Great food, great service, I would recommend you visit if you haven’t been there!

A few drinks and a great dinner and it didn’t take long for the conversation to turn to dogs and some of our favorite memories from the past year. The puppies we’ve watched grow, the challenging cases that have made great strides of progress and the quirks of some of the Doggie Day School crew who visit each week.

Kelly’s hiking class was a great success and we had more dogs than ever go through our Day School Learn and Play program and many who went on to Advanced and Trick Classes. It was a good year and we appreciate the opportunity to work with so many great people and their pets.

But mostly we are looking forward to the coming year and adding some new things that make our Dubuque dog training community even better.  Keep an eye on our Monthly Newsletter for information of new classes and what’s coming up. For instance, this month we are adding a new service called Open Gym. Open gym is an opportunity to get out of the cold and come play inside on our equipment. The facility will have a trainer on sight to assist you with questions or help you polish a skill you’ve been working on. Donations for using the facility will be accepted and all proceeds each month will be donated to one of our favorite non-profit organizations.

There will be other things coming as well but I will save the details for the newsletters. In the meantime enjoy your New Year’s celebrations and we’ll see you and your canine friends in 2013!

Woof!
