AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test Course
We all enjoy the company of dogs, but being a respectful, well-mannered dog when out in public is an important part of that. The CGC program is a great program to help evaluate, and certify, that your dog has the training and behaviors needed to be a reliable, well-behaved member of our community.
Responsible Dog Ownership Course
This course consists of (4) in-person meetings:
Three prep classes to help you and your dog prepare and practice the 10 skills needed to pass the CGC test.
The fourth meeting is to test and become CGC certified.
NOTE: This test is performed with your dog on leash wearing a flat-buckle collar or body harness. Additional training tools such as an electronic collar, prong collar, or head halter are not permitted.
